And, yes, fiverr is not so awesome, at least not to me. I did earn a whopping 12 bucks there but have not been paid, though I did the work weeks ago, and it was a whole lot more work than it was worth.

 in response to Homeless Artist...   Wow! I don't know how brilliant I am, but thank you so much! I am certainly wasting lots of time following leads that end up taking me on wild goose chases or to scams or places that want me to buy something (as if I could if I wanted to) Hahaha. So far the only 3 I found that really work are fiverr.com, making a blog on blogspot, and YouTube.

But where my heart truly is would be to help some of these good folks that come on here needing help to keep a roof over there head and there babies.  in response to Bill Chesh43...   Right now I have gigs posted on fiverr.com and am getting paid to do them (each job is only $5, but the company keeps $1). Something I didn't even post or offer but was asked to do is product reviews. They want people who look like they are in decent shape (good thing they can't really see me in person!) to do a short video for them, reviewing different products like health shakes, exercise equipment, make up, skin care products, etc...
I have also started a YouTube channel but realize it will take quite a while to actually make any money from that at all, so I do that when I have time, hoping that it will pay out long term. I have a friend who has gone to a website called freelancer.com and done some editing and the like, and has gotten paid.
I am still working through which things will work and which won't.
The one I just heard about from a friend, who made $500 his first week, is Visalis (I think that is the correct name.) It is a health and weight loss system with shakes and vitamins....and some people, like my friend, decide to help others join as well and make money doing that. I would normally run away screaming, but he says all he does is get hits on his web page where people fill out contact info and request more details, so the leads are handed to you and all you do is follow up.
We will see.....I'm still investigating this one.
